Laneige Haul! Sleeping Masks and Intensive Cream

With this order, I finally satisfied my curiosity regarding whether GMarket only has one box size or not. It seems like no matter how much I ordered, the box size stayed this same. Today, I can finally tell you that they do have other box sizes!! This box is maybe 1/5 the size of the normal box. My seller just decided to stack the three, bubble wrap around, and tape over the exposed boxes. Maybe they were running a little low on supply.

Packaging is very nice looking.

Laneige Firming Mask- This product also returns to normal form after you take a chunk out of it. Some people were using that as an advertising method saying, it would conform to your face and make it firm that way... something like that. Comes with a spatula. Unfortunately there is nowhere to store it, except in the plastic. This product has a distinctly floral scent. Kind of common in asian toiletries, but this has a lighter, less perfumey scent. It contains their trademark Sleepscent. You might think that it's supposed to help knock you out, but it doesn't. The box has a snowflake on the outside, lol. When I opened it, it sounded like I was breaking a seal, so that's good.

It is slightly sticky after application, but so much better than the one by Holika Holika. This is the more grown up version, and I can see myself using it more often. This must be washed off the next morning.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX- A gel type of product which is very cooling. Also contains Sleepscent, but this is a different scent from the Firming Pack. Hard to describe, but it's not really that floral. If you smell long and hard enough, you can maybe detect something woody and fruity. The directions tell you to sniff it for a few seconds to help relax. The suggested massage is so funny. This seems like something good for hot summer nights.

CONCLUSION: If I had tried them out before, I'd have picked the Firming Pack, and Holika Holika's White Wine (just because it smells so good). Holika Holika's seem like something for a teenage sleepover. Laneige's seems like products that are a little bit more serious.

Laneige Water Bank Intensive Cream- Really like this product. It lends a velvety texture to my extremely dry skin. The cream is very thick, but once you warm it up in your hands it becomes easier to apply. There are strange little dot clumps in there but you can't feel them once you apply the product. Not greasy at all. Also comes with a spatula, but there's nowhere to store it so I'm not sure where it's gone. They should make a groove in the lid where you can store the spatula or something. This one also has this interesting seal on top that you pull out.

I would buy this product again. At least there is some immediate relief for my dry skin. The Etude House Total Age-Repair Emulsion that I've been using for over a year has not done anything for me. I've only kept with it because it was so expensive ~$17 and such a big bottle. Managed to finish off most of it! Funny thing is that Laneige and Etude House are both under the same company. Laneige is supposed to be more higher end than Etude House though, we'll see.

Holika Holika Wine Therapy Sleeping Masks

Today I'm bringing you into the land of sleeping masks! You've all heard how a little wine is good for you, and it has been used previously in facial masks. Holika Holika has taken that and made this sleeping mask.

The interesting purple box is just some more uninteresting cotton pads.

The packaging is made to look like wine barrels.

Red Wine- Contains 10% red wine. Jelly type of texture. If you make a hole in it, the jelly quickly reforms back to a smooth surface. This smells sooo yummy- you just want to eat it. It comes with a clear spatula (not pictured) for those of you who may be germ conscious. It is sticky after applied which makes it less than ideal. When you wash it off the next morning, there is a film like substance that comes off.

White Wine- Contains 10% white wine. Supposed to brighten your skin. Lotion type of texture. Smells even better than the Red Wine. This one doesn't leave as sticky of a residue, and it doesn't feel like anything's coming off when you wash the next morning.

Overall, these are interesting products probably best used as a novelty item. I didn't see any immediate changes from using this product. The main thing is that they smell really delicious.

Review: Eglips Lolly Flower and Real Color Lipsticks + Tint

Hihi! Hope you've all been well. We've just gone through a hurricane. While the power was out, I was super bored and had nothing else to do but make swatches. Lucky you!(Most people have had a week off from work due to no power/ lack of gas).

Today I bring you Eglips/ eglips lipsticks. These always rank as one of first items when you sort the cosmetics by Bestsellers on GMarket. Even after searching the whole internet, there are a very limited number of reviews/ swatches. I'm happy to say that they are well worth the purchase!

They gave me this sunscreen extra, can't wait to try it out (when the sun comes up...). It says non-chemical sunscreen, so there probably won't be a rash.

The Lolly Flower line of lipsticks are extremely moisturizing and yet are able to deposit visible color.

No.25 Brilliant Mandarine- I appreciate the slight pink added to this orange color. It really makes it more wearable. These lipsticks are a lot more moisturizing than the Etude House Miss Tangerine line, and therefore, the finish is a lot more flattering.

No.17 Ylang Ylang Peach- It almost appears neon pink in the tube. Even though it's "peach", this is a pinker color than No.25 Brilliant Mandarine. Like all other scary colored Korean lipsticks, this applies to a much more wearable color. Still very eye catching though. This is dryer than the other two Lolly Flower lipsticks.

No.56 Deep Mir- This is (no surprise) my favorite of the Lolly Flower bunch. It is another fuchsia colored lipstick. For some reason these never photograph very well. It is much more intense in color in real life. It is more pink than lavender when compared with Etude House's LUCIDarling #5, and less brown than the Etude House's Dear My Blooming lipstick that I recently reviewed. I will have to do a comparison swatch of all three sometime.

Now for Eglips Real Color Lipstick in #09 Christine. LOVE. Christine looks kind of yellow in the tube, so I was worried, but applied it looks like my lip color a hint on the pinker side. This one works well as a nude for work (for me). It also has more of a moisturizing balm quality to it, and less color pigmentation compared to the Lolly Flower. I had also planned on purchasing Vanessa, but that one sold out.

The lipstick packaging is kind of cheap looking, very little girl lipstick (Even more than Etude House's). Still at ~$5 each, you really can't complain! Would definitely order again in a heartbeat.

Onto the tint. In photos it seems like the tint makes your lips into a soft pink. It kind of does that here too in my swatches. In reality, it's quite an intense hot pink color. The good thing is that the tint actually does tint your lips, so you don't have to worry about having naked lips after the color wears off. The tint is a gel applied with a doe-foot applicator. Unfortunately, it seems it must have something that I'm allergic to (like the Revlon Just Bitten lip stains) because my lips become slightly itchy. You have to really be careful to apply evenly or you will get streaks- as demonstrated in the swatches. Not really a fan of this product.

Unrelated Note: I finally got around to ordering photo prints. 1311 photos *faints*. Luckily Snapfish has a coupon for 50% off and free shipping. It seems frivolous to print out photos in the digital age when things look so much better on a computer screen anyways, but there's something quite nostalgic about flipping through photos. Plus, if anyone decides to steal my laptop again, at least I'll have hardcopies (... unless they decide to steal those too...).

Highlighters!: Etude House Golden Ratio #02 Pink & Tony Moly Crystal Light Pink Beam (No.01)

Many of you have probably been highlighting/contouring with your makeup for ages now. I've just begun. We all know of Benefit's famous liquid highlighters, but I wanted to take a look at a couple korean ones.

As you can see, the Etude House one is much much larger than the Tony Moly. It's actually quite huge.

Tony Moly's highlighter comes in a quaint glass bottle. As other bloggers have noted, it does give it a more elegant feel.

Etude House also has another cream highlighter on top. I think someone said this is for the eyes or something.

Comparison: Tony Moly on the top, Etude House in the middle, and Etude House cream on the bottom.

Both have a liquidy texture.

Blended out, the Tony Moly is more visible, the Etude House has a more natural looking effect. The Etude House cream one has the most shimmer though.

I tried this on my face and decided that the Tony Moly was best for highlighting cheek area. It may be because I'm pretty light already, so the Etude House doesn't really look like much. I supposed I could try the cream Etude House instead though. For highlighting forehead and chin, Etude House worked best. The Tony Moly gave it an unnatural sheen that you wouldn't see for those areas.

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Lipstick: Pk005, BE101, Pk008

On the whole, I'm a fan of Etude House lipsticks. The formula is non-drying, and the pigmentation is fairly good. Admittedly their new line wasn't that appealing to me at first, but I thought, "What the heck". The Dear My Blooming Lips line's concept is that there are 24 shades you can choose from depending on your "mood of the day".

I selected PK005 & BE101 which are supposedly their "Hot colors". In addition, I picked up PK008.

The packaging overall is a bit on the teenage childish side. The lipstick however, I find to be very moisturizing.

PK005: Looks a lot brighter in the tube. Applies a bit more subtly, but still eye catching. It can look a little uneven in application if you're not careful.

BE101: Warm nude, good for and autumn color. Wasn't what I was really going for. If this suits you, email me juicedmang0s@gmail.com. $7 shipped in the US.

PK008: It looks rose mauve in the tube, but applies closer to a fuchsia. Most excited about this color. I just lost one of my favorite cool toned lipsticks, so it's nice to have something to hold me over until I get it replaced. I was also contemplating getting Butter London's Primrose Hill Picnic, but I think this is pretty close. 

Laneige BB Cream Review and Slice of Life

First things first. I finally finished reviewing the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil (Love it!) and Schick razor HERE.

So the Laneige BB cream. This is going to be a different kind of review because, the reviewing circumstances are a bit interesting. What happened was that I had always wanted to check out the little cosmetic alcove at H-mart. BUT, I was afraid the sales associate would hawk me. So I finally went with a friend. Apparently she and her mother frequent the area often and the sales associates know her mother. As feared, the sales associate would not leave us alone (expected). She constantly kept asking what we were looking for and would not accept the, "Oh, just looking..." answer. In fact, she kept trying to push product onto us. I'm talking REALLY pushing product onto us (unexpected). It seemed like she was rushing us snappily and by the end of it all my friend ended up with a $17 pot of lipgloss and $28 lip treatment. I was like... uh, did you really want those? (or did she pressure you into it?). Even my friend thought the sales associate was unusually pressing.

I'm the type that likes to look around first, and try random things on my own. If I like it, I'll take it, if not, I'll leave. I HAD NO CHANCE TO DO SO. Sales associate rang my friend up and practically shooed us away (it wasn't lunchtime or closing time or anything like that). I just barely managed to get her to let me try on a Laneige BB Cream. Truthfully, I wanted to swatch them all and decide for myself. She picked one out and swatched it on my hand and face.

IT IS SOOO NICE. I told her I had dry skin and she picked out this one that seemed to have a traditional character/ design on it (didn't get a good look). Yes, that means that I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS BB CREAM IS CALLED! T^T oh the horror!! The texture is lovely, it doesn't sink into the lines and look strange. Very moisturizing- it's like I don't have dry skin at all. I asked her how much- it looks like a travel size so I thought at most $30. "$16" I heard. What?! Hey that's not bad at all! So I said sure and went to pay. "$64.20". "What? I'm sorry, how much?" "SIXTY-FOUR TWENTY. The $4.20 is tax". "UHHH, sorry, I don't have that much money- I'll come back next time" NOT!!

It's a lovely BB cream, but $60+?! I'm sorry for such a tiny thing, no. The lady looked really pissed off when I left >.> oh well. It's not like I wanted to waste your five minutes. You didn't pronounce it right. Friend: "Did you think she said 16?" "Yea..." "Me too..". We agreed that if I REALLY REALLY liked it (I do), then $40 would hurt, but would be ok to do. $60? No -__-.

Then I got outside in normal light and saw that the shade was off anyways. Good thing I didn't get it. It was the heavens blessing me. Color is too orange, can you tell? It also doesn't have good coverage.

Summary:

• Extremely moisturizing.
• Goes on smoothly and doesn't look strange in the creases.
• Light-medium coverage
• Expensive

We concluded that the lady does pick out nice products, just a bit snappy. She could probably use some products for her face too. Those eye bags make her look like in her thirties. For an asian that's not good- unless she's really in her fourties.

Do you have an idea of which Laneige BB Cream this might be? Let me know! If they have a lighter color I could probably do a more proper review after ordering samples. Meanwhile maybe I can try the cheaper Laneige Snow BB Cream.

Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB: #1

I'm not sure whether this product is a BB or a BB cream base. It's interesting. At first I read the make-up base part and thought it was similar to primer or some sort of lotion. So I dispensed plenty of product.

Notice how there are tiny dark dots in the white cream though. As soon as I began blending the cream, the color started changing!!

COLOR: Works for me hue wise. Maybe half a shade dark.
TEXTURE: Leaves a "Sticky" dry frictious feeling.
COVERAGE: Medium

I think this product will work as a makeup base/ primer because of it's "sticky" texture. This doesn't fare too well on my dry skin, but I do like it otherwise. It's a fun concept! Pick it up if you have a chance.

BB Cream Battle: Dr. Jart+ vs Hanskin

Dr. Jart+ and Hanskin are both big brands for BB cream, so of course I have to sample them.

Overall, Hanskin is more runny than Dr. Jart+. Dr. Jart+, while thick, has much less drying texture than BRTC.

Dr. Jart+


1. Black Label- Looks like the fullest coverage of all 4. Covers 4/5 of scars
2. Water Fuse- Goes on feeling like water, very thin coverage. Good for evening skin tones.
3. Silver Label- Good coverage as well. Little bit less than 4/5 of scars.

Hanskin

4. Super Light Touch BB- Looks like the most even color finish. It may be related to the color, but this one really shows up the flaky parts of my skin.
5. Mineral Magic BB- This is akin to Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse. Very thin coverage, good for evening out skin. Non drying.

My favorite of these is probably Dr.Jart+ Silver label?...It's a close call.

Color Comparison: Missha Perfect Cover BB No.21 & No.13; Missha BB Boomer Review

I thought I had posted a swatch of the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream No.13 that I had won. Guess not, but here it is~

First let's talk about the Missha BB Boomer. When I squeeze the product out, there's definitely a pearl finish to it. Applied, it gives the face a slightly dewy finish. The face also become slightly sticky (to help the BB cream stick better I suppose).

#13 doesn't have the gray-ish beige cast that #21 does so it gives off a "brighter" quality as you can see. Blended in fully, the colors don't differentiate too much. #13 seems to be a tidge too light for me still though so I'm working through #21.

The Missha M BB Boomer I don't think I will purchase. It just doesn't seem like something that improves the finished effect that much. This would be good for those with oily skin (need something to give BB cream extra hold).

Review: Etude House Good-bye Trouble BB Magic Cream Spf 30

This is another BB cream from Etude House. I like the BB Magic Balm so I figured I'd try the cream and see if it did me any good. Originally I was wondering what the difference was between this one in the blue container and the ones in the purple. I decided on this one because it has a little bit of sun protection (spf 30).

Since it's marketed as Moisturizing Blemish Balm Cream with Sun Protection, I thought it might work for my dry skin.

I purchased the 35ml which is kind of small compared to the others, but big enough to get good use. I would even say it's good for travel (psttt, it's less than 2 oz). It has a nice pump for those of you concerned about hygiene issues- and this one allows you to control how much you pump, unlike some others which bestow you with a surprising amount upon attempting to pump gently.

I slathered the product on. The skin tone differences are not due to the product, it is due to lighting differences.

Color: I'm very pleased, it seems about right for my skin (neutral colored). Remember, BB creams are supposed to be able to kind of blend into your skin so there is leeway. It can probably go from fair to medium.

Coverage: SHEER. This is by far the lightest BB cream that I've tried. It barely covers my blemishes. It is a very lightweight BB cream good for summer/hot weather when makeup melts off anyways or those of you with pretty good skin (no need to hide, we'll try to not come after you with pitchforks). BB creams are being marketed as tinted moisturizers in America now, and I feel like this is the closest to that concept.

It would work well for those who just want skin tones evened out a bit without looking like you have makeup on.

Texture: Lightweight, doesn't dry out my skin at all. Not sure if it's moisturizing but I'm not seeing any adverse effects, lol.

Overall: A lightweight BB with light coverage good for evening out skin tones. Recommended for those going after an "I'm not wearing any makeup" look. No strong scents, non drying. I can't really attest to it's "Good-bye Trouble" abilities- maybe another one of you can. Color is such that I think it would work with a generous range of skin tones and not look strange. I'm sure you've noticed by now but I need something that can actually minimize the appearance of blemishes and scars. This product doesn't fit my needs. =/ Which leaves me with the question "What do I do with this bottle that I have?"

Review: Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream No. 21- Spf 42

You may have seen my review for this product in No.23. I recently acquired No.21 as a new customer gift from Missha website. I'm loving the pump. Packaging is very elegant. I've been wondering about how No. 21 would be for me and now I finally get a chance to try it!

Skin: I haven't been noting my skin conditions in recent reviews, but I will today since it has changed and is different from my first review on this formula. Back when I did No.23 I had slightly oily T-zone, the rest of the skin was normal to normal dry. Now, it has shifted to being slightly dry all around with especially dry (sometimes a little flaky) T-zone. However, as you will see later, this formula still works nicely for me.

Color: I don't know if it's my recent skin lightening, but this shade is definitely more suited to my skin than No.23. I must note though, that the grayish cast is still present as you can see from my photos. Although it's said that the gray tint is to enhance the pale effect, I have to say that I've always associated a gray parlor with aging skin. If you've noticed, younger skin has a "brighter" quality (which many cosmetic products try to mimic by sprinkling the product with gold or some other material that will mimic the effect). As we age, our skin gradually loses this brightness. Thus, I do kind of feel like this product is aging my skin color. Again, this may be because my skin is neutral in tone. For someone with warmer colored skin this may help with the "pale" effect. Careful though, too far off from this color and you could end up with an ashy effect. For me this is still a bit light in color, so I will probably consider dusting a bit of bronzer on top. Suitable for Fair Skin.

Coverage: I've always thought this product to have good coverage. Solid medium- covers 1/2- 2/3 of my scar appearances.

Texture: Medium thick. Thick enough for coverage, but not so that you feel like there is a mask on your face. It still feels really natural. Doesn't show my dry skin at all- yay!

Overall: I do think the formulation of this product is great. Recently I haven't been so anal with covering up my hideous scars so I do think that if I can ever find the right color in this formula I might purchase for daily wear.   Haven't noticed it helping with blemish/ scar/ wrinkle appearance or anything yet though. I'll let you know if it ever does, haha. For those who want a little more than skin tone evening, perhaps slight blemishes, and whitening effect. The great thing is that you can apply a really sheer layer, or a thicker layer for more coverage.

I'll probably not be doing the time wear tests because it has already been performed for this formula. Visit the No. 23's review page to take a look!

Review: Baviphat Magic Girls Plus BB Cream- Spf30

Since my search for a BB cream suiting my current skin needs started, I've been willing to try a variety of BB creams. My search lead me to Baviphat's Magic Girls Plus BB Cream. It is spf 30 and formulated to be "Moisturizing for Dry Skin".

This brand has cute drawings of girls on its packaging.

Color: Works for me! Neutral in tone and for Fair to Fair Medium skin.

Coverage: Sheer, the coverage is light to light medium but you can see for yourself. It does offer some  coverage. For this picture I liberally applied the product.

Texture: I think it is fairly moisturizing, certainly not drying by any means. At least it isn't making my skin look dry and peely. Not thick, but not watery.

Overall: This would be great for those with normal to dry skin who just want some skin tone evening and light coverage. I will not buy this because as I've said I do need more coverage for my scars.

BB Cream Battle!: BRTC

My samples finally arrived ^^. This post took so long because I wanted to properly take the time to test out the products over the course of a day and see how they fared.

In this post I review 3 BB creams from the well known BRTC!

BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream spf30


     I picked this one first because I had just finished washing my face and this promises to whiten, repair wrinkles, and replenish water. Key is replenish water.

Coverage: Very good. it's better than probably all the other BB creams I've tried. I have some very bad scars and breakouts this time around as well and it's concealed them 90%. Medium High- High coverage. Haha, I just noticed, but if you look at my initial and 4 hour picture, there is a splotch on my cheek. This shows that the coverage is pretty noticeable. When I applied the cream, my cheeks were the same color, but after going outside, the difference between the now redder cheeks and the BB cream is more apparent. It wears away a little bit through the day, but that is normal.

Texture: Thicker BB cream, not hard to spread/ pat on at all. You can still tell a bit that my skin is dry in areas (the lighter bb cream sinks into the cracks), but it's much better than when I use Etude House Magic BB Balm.

Color: This has a whitening component, so it is lighter than my skin color. You can see this in the swatch pictures, my skin is ghastly white in some areas.

Overall: There isn't a strong scent, it covers well, and color isn't too orange. Since it is a product with more coverage, I suggest applying a thin layer over the whole face (building up where necessary) and then adding blush for a hint of color. Personally I don't need a ghost white face, so I'll mix in a little bit of the warmer toned Skin Food Aloe Sun #2 to get a better color. Skin Food Aloe Sun was practically the perfect shade when I bought it, but it seems like recently my face color has lightened back to match the rest of me (it had strangely gotten one to two shades darker than my neck at one point- never happened before) Right now I'm liking this product. I don't find it to be an HG product, but I wouldn't mind having it in my makeup box for those times when thicker coverage is necessary.

BRTC Gold Caviar BB Cream Spf 50


Coverage: Decent, not as strong as the Jasmine Water BB. It covers my scars about 50% so I would consider this medium coverage. Still, you can see the difference in color where I've applied and where I haven't. It's obvious on pinker cheeks as well.

Texture: Thinner than the Jasmine Water, but thicker than Missha's No. 23 BB. It's considered a thicker consistency, but I don't feel like anything's caked on my skin. The product unfortunately does settle into the cracks of my dry skin and is visible (less obvious than the Etude House Magic BB Balm still). I don't feel like it's drying out my skin per se, just not hydrating it any.

Color: The color of the Gold Caviar is much more suited to my skin compared to the Jasmine Water. It is darker/ warmer in tone, but not too orange.

Overall: I think this can be a very nice BB cream for some people- it also has high spf. But due to it sinking into my dry skin cracks (and being obvious) and not having quite as strong of a coverage, I think I would not invest in buying this BB cream for my skin. You do notice it "blending" into my skin over time, however, which  is desireable- but there is less and less coverage.

BRTC Whitening & Repairing- spf 37


Coverage: This one has decent coverage, more than the Gold Caviar and on par with the Jasmine Water. I consider it Medium -High

Texture: Applies smoothly, like the other BRTC creams is a little on the thick side (but not caking your face thick). A little drying on my face and shows off my dry skin. It may be even more drying than my Etude House Magic BB Balm. The most drying of the BRTC trio in this post imo.

Color: Due to the Whitening part, it is lighter than my natural skin color. It has much less of a ghastly effect than the Jasmine Water. I do see some brightening qualities that it has given my skin, I prefer the coloring over the Gold Caviar.

Overall: I like the coloring of this bb over the other two and it has good coverage, but the drying effect makes it something that I would not purchase.

Final Comments: Please note that this is all based on my skin. Products that work for me might not work for you and vice versa.
     The Jasmine Water was least drying/ showed off my dry skin less, the Golden Caviar matched my neutral skin best (maybe a hint of warmer quality, but really only a teensy hint), and I loved the color and coverage of the Whitening &Repairing.
     Overall, I do find BRTC bb creams to be thicker than that of Missha and Skinfood (the ones that I've tried), they may be on par with Etude House's Precious Minerals though. Don't be mistaken- when I heard they were thick, I was imagining some horrible caked on feeling, and that is not the case with these. My skin feels like there is nothing on it.
     I wouldn't mind having the Jasmine Water BB - I can mix colors with Skinfood's Aloe Sun to get it a shade warmer/ darker, but as to whether I would go and buy it I'm just not sure. Gold Caviar I found is not suited to my needs and therefore I won't be purchasing. I would buy the Whitening & Repairing except I think it's formulated for those with oily skin (and right now mine is going through a dry phase so it shows off all the cracks).
     Didn't notice any scents to these, and the plus is that they all have spf ^^. They also seem to be good at concealing red/ slight skin discolorations.

I've made a chart to help concise my thoughts. The colors are just to show MY preferences based on MY skin.

As you can see, they weren't exactly what I wanted.

This is the reason why I highly recommend trying out the BB creams before you invest in a whole tube. Although the samples can get pricey (I spent quite a bit getting samples), it's nothing compared to the disappointment of having a left over tube of something that you can't use after you've shelled out $12-30.

Photos alternate between Flash and Non Flash. Non Flash pictures weren't taken for a set because I deemed it too dark to see anything useful without the flash. Missha Eye & Lip Color: New M Luminous Color Lip Rouge & Signature Glam Art Rouge

Ok... I posted a Missha haul and said I'd review the items, but I decided to return the eyeshadows so I can't do swatches. I returned them because they were more shimmery than I thought and I already have similar colors. It seems I really need to look for matte shadows. I did however take photos of them, so you can have another reference picture other than the manufacturer's.

The packaging is super cute! The eyeshadow compacts are made of sturdy plastic. I had to double check that they weren't metallic. I picked up The Style Silky Shadow Duo (No.7 Sandblown), The Style Metallic Shadow (BE01), Signature Velvet Art Shadow No.4 Brown combination, and Signature Velvet Art Shadow No.9 Minimal combination. I had thought the BE01 would be a couple shades darker, and the Sandblown Duo is much warmer in tone than I imagined.

For the eyeshadow palettes, They're really well put together with instruction sheets. I don't know if it's the new one, but the one with foldout application instruction is in color and has instructions for 5 palettes- also in english, whereas the other is in korean. These eyeshadow palettes have mirrors in the compacts, and they come with a double ended sponge tip applicator- I just removed the plastic tray on top of the shadows that did contain the applicators.

Missha New M Luminous Color Lip Rouge- #RD702


Color is cooler in the tube, but warm upon application. The texture is not overly creamy, but not drying either. It can be a powerful red, but I applied this lightly to go out and it was impactful without being overbearing. Even after eating and drinking there was a distinct red tint to my lips. In the swatch I didn't quite get it evenly, forgive me?

Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge- #SPK101


Color is light pink, but not milky pink (which is what I was kind of going for >.<). I did have a photo of it only half on my lips but it's kind of hard to tell. This is a creamy gentle pink which I actually can see myself wearing every once in a while for a pop of color. It doesn't sink into the lip folds which is a bonus.

Missha Signature Glam Art Rouge- #SRD701


The color is very close to the RD702, but warmer looking, it has glitter in it. I opted to return this one because I do have similar lip colors already.

Lip balm was applied before using these products.
