GMarket Spree! [CLOSED]

Last order/ Payment: 12 pm (Noon) Monday November 28th, 2011. GMT -5:00 or whatever is Eastern Time.

Hi Lovelies!~

I'm planning on doing another GMarket order, and since the recent track order has been pretty good, I decided to give you all a chance to get in on the order if you want. I can't guarantee anything 100%.

  • Maybe the item is out of stock or the seller ships the wrong item (happened to me a couple times!).
  • SO that's why I want to keep it to small things. That way if they do ship the wrong thing, I can just refund you with my own money.
I do require payment first because I'm low on funding (too many GMarket orders, LOL). No, I'm not going to take your money and leave you hanging dry. I've sold on Soompi and Ebay as well.

  • Another reason why I need to have payment first is so some sketchy people won't order things and never pay for them. That leaves me with excess items that I don't necessarily want.
  • I know Soompi makes the preorders pay for the things themselves, then people can pay for it when the items reach the seller, but like I said, leaves them with excess things when people don't pay.
  • And since this is my blog, I say pay up first! If you pay me with paypal, you can open a dispute if I don't send you the stuff *blink blink*- for your insurance.

That being said, I have some suggestions for things below, and only included some things from the seller in case some oddity happens and I am stuck with items- I at least want things I like.

I WILL ORDER NOV. 30.

Anything that you've seen in my GMarket hauls you can try to order! Jewelry, Cosmetics, ETC!!

GMarket Haul (Finally!) Pt.1

This time, the box came all mangled and wet. Strange because it didn't rain. I was reading horror stories about how sometimes the Fed Ex trucks will leak and packages will stick to the floor. I guess that's what happened here. Also, I noticed that Gmarket doesn't lower prices on the front for customs anymore. Which is terrible for me because for some reason the packages always deliver when I'm not home, so when other people sign for the package they can see how much I spent...

Got these cute cheap earrings! The seller actually got my order wrong, I didn't order the crown bow earrings, I ordered another pair, but at <$1, I figured it wasn't worth arguing about. They're cute anyways (I just ordered the ones I originally wanted in my next order again ^^. Hairtie is a freebie. If you want the bow crown earrings though I can ship them to you for $2! Just email me at Juicedmang0s@gmail.com. If you want tracking on it, it'll be $3 though. I suggest browsing through my blog and picking up another item or two to make it worthwhile- tracking might be free (I have so many things for you all!)

I needed an overnight bag so I thought I'd take a look around =/ I think I ordered the wrong one. I was trying to decide between two. This one looked fancier on the outside, but I think it may be too thin a bit =/. Still looks ok if I want to fill it with clothes though. I don't know why the picture is sideways, but this way I can squeeze them both on the same line ^^.

Also spotted what I thought was an interesting trenchcoat~ The back area is chiffon. The only thing is I thought the material was thicker, and it's quite light. Very VERY soft and comfy material. I think this is more suited for spring/ early fall. I'm very short so these sleeves come past my fingertips... I got another one on Gmarket (I'll show you later) which has shorter sleeves (it's got its quirks too, tell you about them later), so if you are looking for an traditional piece with a bit of flair for slightly chilly weather, I can send this to you at the heavily discounted price (it was not cheap) of $15 shipped. I won't give it much use since I have the other one with slightly shorter sleeves. It's about a small size, but if you need measurements, want to buy,  or other questions, EMAIL ME at Juicedmang0s@gmail.com.

The hairties seller was really cute! They even wrote me a note in English and packaged my things nicely. I HIGHLY recommend the cloth hairties. They are impressive looking.

Got some gaudy rings! The other pearl thing is a freebie. I think it's an apology for one of the items being out of stock.

Hairbands. I don't really wear hairbands, but they were cute.

ALSO... BIG NEWS, I got an Instax Mini 25. Not from Gmarket though, because I figured if something went wrong I couldn't return it. I love it so much, I dream about taking pictures with it. At first I couldn't figure out which way the macro lens went on, then I realized the flat part was to not cover the mirror area.

John Frieda Precision Foam Colour to the Rescue!

Quick post. In my previous post, I showed you the horrible disaster that happened. Well, I decided to use John Frieda Precision Foam Colour to help fix it. Although I abhor the smell, there's no denying that this product works. And it says it'll give even color, so figured it was worth a shot. This is my 3rd time dyeing my hair in a week. Probably not the best, but I really needed to not have orange hair. Also, I remembered what Tabitha said on Tabitha's Salon Takeover during one episode "Color removes color". Sure enough, when I went to wash this one out (it does kind of lather btw), orange just poured out of my head. I had chosen the Natural Brown color this time around since I figured there was enough orange red in my hair already.

It's not perfect, but the orange is considerably toned down, roots are less visible and I'm happy!

Samy Fat Foam Hair Color

Hi my lovely readers. I got all my Gmarket stuff in, and I love most of it! Buttt... I'll leave that for another post (are you impatient enough now?)

This post is going to be about my experience with Samy Fat Foam hair color yesterday. I got the intense red color, the one that says RR. I've been eyeing this product, mostly for the packaging. When I opened it, I was thinking, is this huge bottle really necessary?...

Turns out it is. You can google a lot of pictures on what's inside, but this post is more on my thoughts on the product.

First, the developer is clear liquid. While that's not a huge surprise it was a little bit of one because I'm mainly used to using a creme developer. The color is also powder which I've never used before. It was always liquid or creme. At first when you mix the two together, it's almost an off white, not the color you eventually want to get (but that's ok). After you shake the mixture in the container, you open the container to see that the foam actually reaches allll the way to the top and almost spills out.

The instructions basically will have you shivering in your pants not to drip anywhere without wiping up immediately. I found that you do have some time left to clean things up before it stains for good. Unlike Clairol colors. Application is where I run into problems though. You may recall my posts on John Frieda's Precision hair color and how I noted it was difficult to get the color even when you use the foam application. This particular product is also a drippy foam (they note it in the instructions) but it doesn't lather up! DO NOT try to apply it every which way as I did. Well I did separate into three layers, but it's best to be methodolical with this product and thoroughly cover each layer.

The product did have a bit of a burning to the nose and bad smell as is common of these products, but it's not as bad as the John Frieda one. The color is completely not what I expected. It looks orange to me. I hate it when my hair is orange.

After the product was washed out, my hair felt sooo damaged. It was the worst yet, maybe even worse than when I first did a light bleach on my hair the first time dyeing. I can understand why they say not to comb, your hair will most likely fall out in chunks. But then I put their shampoo on (normally I never shampoo after dyeing, only condition, but they include a shampoo) my hair immediately got much smoother and silkier. I then applied the conditioner and when my hair was dry and done? Well now it's super silky to the touch.

My roots are still very dark in most areas, but the dye was able to smooth out the line between dyed hair and roots some. You can see the uneven application =/.

Conclusion: I don't think I can recommend this product due to difficulty in usage, color, and extent of damage to hair. If this is a product that you love, well don't let me stop you! It's just not one that I would use often. The John Frieda one leaves everything burning and you want to choke from the smell, but at least it lightens hair and produces a nice color.

I kind of want to go out and buy a brown or something to fix this. I'm supposed to dress professionally to work so I'm not sure how they'll take to my orange streaks. And yes, they are orange. They don't look as terrible in the pictures, but they are.

Revolt Against Harassment by Sephora Sales Associates!!

I'm so bothered by my visit to Sephora yesterday that I have to blog about it. For those of you internationally who don't know, Sephora is a store where they let you test out higher end cosmetics. They have lipsticks, nailpolishes, foundations, eyeshadows, etc etc laid out for you to try. When the store was newish way back when, I remembered enjoying the experience, I could test out colors and formulations before buying a product (which saves you bunches on these more expensive ones). Once in a while a sales associate would ask if you needed help when passing by.

NOW?! IT'S GOTTEN TERRIBLE! I noticed that it seems like every time I go there I get harassed more and more by the sales associates. Yes, I call it harassing. I know there are some of you who enjoy having sales associates fawn all over you, that's great. But I'm the type who likes to browse by myself, and then if I need assistance I can call a sales associate over. There have been times at other stores when I've looked for someone to help and there was no one to help. THAT was annoying. Just.. stand there until I'm good and ready, geez.

I blame that customer service craze that came about 2 years or so ago. The one where economy in this country was getting worse and people opted to get more customers by upping the customer service. Except they overdid it. Used to be at Home Depot we would get frustrated because no one was around for aisles to help. Now? Two people will ask you within a minute if you need help. At least after you say no they go away. THIS is what I was mad about yesterday, and even today.

Within 5 minutes of me walking into Sephora. 4 different sales associates asked if I needed help, told them no every time. I knew this would happen too, which is why I tried to duck into an out of sight aisle first- in hopes of avoiding them. Within another 5 minutes, one of THE SAME sales associates approached me and said, "Are you STILL okay?" UHMMM YES. Do you think I'm going to die in 5 minutes?!?! "Are you SURE there's nothing I can help you with" YES, DANGNAMMIT YES! Am I going to die without you?! LADY YOUR FOUNDATION IS ORANGE, I THINK YOU SHOULD HELP YOURSELF FIRST BEFORE TRYING TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE.

My friend who works retail at a game store is trying to convince me that they are forced to do so in retail or they get fired. WELL THEN LISTEN UP STOREOWNERS. YOU ANNOY ME, STOP. I'm now refusing to enter sephora unless absolutely necessary. I much prefer shopping online. Or why didn't I just walk into a department store to try things on? At least I won't get harassed by the same people.

I should clarify though, if I'm looking for something in particular, then it is helpful to ask the sales people because they can help you pick out all the red shades of lipstick or whatever since they have a good knowledge of what the store offers.

On the bright side, I think I did find a decent dupe for the lipcolor that I was looking for. My friend wore this gorgeous champagne beige color that she said was made by Pixi. Pixi's palettes are not the cheapest and I didn't want to buy a whole palette just for one color. Smashbox's Lustre looks close. It's not perfect. I wish it were more of a shimmer instead of glitter, but it's the closest I could find. I need to go to Inglot again to see if they have a similar color. I'll be shadowing a PA in NY in a few weeks so that'll be the perfect opportunity.

Stay well and try not to get harassed by sales associates. and if you are a sales associate, try not to harass customers. especially the same one. toodles.

PS. I got another gmarket order in, have to take pictures of my haul for you! Also... I might have another haul on the way, no I definitely do. >.> My poor bank account.

PPS. omg omg my people, I just looked apparently you can order Inglot online now! Smart move! I'll still go in store to check out the shades though... and to skip shipping. Maybe I should pick up a new gel liner. The old one is dried out. I wanted to try out a different (possibly cheaper?!) one, but this one works pretty well so...if it ain't broke don't fix it? >.<
