New Wig!

Hihi! Long time no blog... again. You know what the problem is? I always want to make everything perfect before posting it up and that nearly takes forever. So this time, I decided I should just post what I have and forget about making a completed entry.

Subject: NEW WIG! How exciting is that?! I've been hankering for wigs for a while because I love to change things up once in a while, but my hair grows so slow so frequent change is not an option. It's also been hard to take pics recently since there are strangers in my home every single day of the week working on the house- and I can't be there when there's adequate lighting. You all work too hard. Come in late or leave early so I can enjoy my room in sunlight for once.

Wig in Question: It's a two toned wig I got from Gmarket. I think the brand is Gabal Friends? Not sure.

My Picture:

The Nitty Gritty

Color : I was really disappointed when I opened the box at first because it's a lot warmer in color than they would lead you to believe with their photos. It doesn't look too bad in my photo because I made use of the bluer natural light. The warmness is a problem because my skin likes neutral concealers/ foundations, but if colors are going to swing one way or the other, it seems to prefer cooler colors a bit more. The two colors also don't contrast as much as I'd like. I saw another review which seemed to have a similar, if not the same wig, and that one looked much more like the sample picture. I wonder if I didn't get a defective one.

Texture: not bad at all. It might be more smooth than my own hair even! It's not the silkiest synthetic hair though. I got pinkage hair extensions (post to come later when I can get nicer pics), and boy are those worth the money! One thing that I highly appreciate about the fibers is that it doesn't give off the terrible wig hair sheen. You know the one that screams to everyone that this is not real hair.

I posted this picture up for my friends and so far, I don't think they know it's a wig yet.

Style: workable. I was concerned that the bangs would be too short from the looks of the mannequin shot, but a friend told me that they usually leave the bangs longer for you to cut yourself. I found that to be very true. The bangs were so long they jabbed right into my eyes. So I trimmed off a small amount using a blunt cut. I realized that this wig produces many different looks depending on how you style it. Instead of the super straight look they used in the stock photo, I just left the waves in for a more natural look. To make it more realistic, you can cover up the part on top with a headband or hat.

Value for the Price: I would say it's ok. It's a bit expensive in general, but I think this is not a hugely disappointing product. I got the heat resistant fibers (which I have not tried out) because a friend said they were more durable. I think durability is a good thing if you plan to wear it more than once.

Accessories: It came with a grape essence spray which smelled yummy but can get sickening quickly. The brush with the metal bristles works very well for straightening out hair without pulling on it.

I think I really do need to pick up a wig stand though.

I'll try and post up more pictures some other time, but it won't be too soon. I'd rather get a post up about 4 bb creams that I tried!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

GMarket Spree! [CLOSED]

Last order/ Payment: 12 pm (Noon) Monday November 28th, 2011. GMT -5:00 or whatever is Eastern Time.

Hi Lovelies!~

I'm planning on doing another GMarket order, and since the recent track order has been pretty good, I decided to give you all a chance to get in on the order if you want. I can't guarantee anything 100%.

  • Maybe the item is out of stock or the seller ships the wrong item (happened to me a couple times!).
  • SO that's why I want to keep it to small things. That way if they do ship the wrong thing, I can just refund you with my own money.
I do require payment first because I'm low on funding (too many GMarket orders, LOL). No, I'm not going to take your money and leave you hanging dry. I've sold on Soompi and Ebay as well.

  • Another reason why I need to have payment first is so some sketchy people won't order things and never pay for them. That leaves me with excess items that I don't necessarily want.
  • I know Soompi makes the preorders pay for the things themselves, then people can pay for it when the items reach the seller, but like I said, leaves them with excess things when people don't pay.
  • And since this is my blog, I say pay up first! If you pay me with paypal, you can open a dispute if I don't send you the stuff *blink blink*- for your insurance.

That being said, I have some suggestions for things below, and only included some things from the seller in case some oddity happens and I am stuck with items- I at least want things I like.

Anything that you've seen in my GMarket hauls you can try to order! Jewelry, Cosmetics, ETC!!

GMarket Haul (Finally!) Pt.1

This time, the box came all mangled and wet. Strange because it didn't rain. I was reading horror stories about how sometimes the Fed Ex trucks will leak and packages will stick to the floor. I guess that's what happened here. Also, I noticed that Gmarket doesn't lower prices on the front for customs anymore. Which is terrible for me because for some reason the packages always deliver when I'm not home, so when other people sign for the package they can see how much I spent...

Got these cute cheap earrings! The seller actually got my order wrong, I didn't order the crown bow earrings, I ordered another pair, but at <$1, I figured it wasn't worth arguing about. They're cute anyways (I just ordered the ones I originally wanted in my next order again ^^. Hairtie is a freebie. If you want the bow crown earrings though I can ship them to you for $2! Just email me at If you want tracking on it, it'll be $3 though. I suggest browsing through my blog and picking up another item or two to make it worthwhile- tracking might be free (I have so many things for you all!)

I needed an overnight bag so I thought I'd take a look around =/ I think I ordered the wrong one. I was trying to decide between two. This one looked fancier on the outside, but I think it may be too thin a bit =/. Still looks ok if I want to fill it with clothes though. I don't know why the picture is sideways, but this way I can squeeze them both on the same line ^^.

Also spotted what I thought was an interesting trenchcoat~ The back area is chiffon. The only thing is I thought the material was thicker, and it's quite light. Very VERY soft and comfy material. I think this is more suited for spring/ early fall. I'm very short so these sleeves come past my fingertips... I got another one on Gmarket (I'll show you later) which has shorter sleeves (it's got its quirks too, tell you about them later), so if you are looking for an traditional piece with a bit of flair for slightly chilly weather, I can send this to you at the heavily discounted price (it was not cheap) of $15 shipped. I won't give it much use since I have the other one with slightly shorter sleeves. It's about a small size, but if you need measurements, want to buy,  or other questions, EMAIL ME at

The hairties seller was really cute! They even wrote me a note in English and packaged my things nicely. I HIGHLY recommend the cloth hairties. They are impressive looking.

Got some gaudy rings! The other pearl thing is a freebie. I think it's an apology for one of the items being out of stock.

Hairbands. I don't really wear hairbands, but they were cute.

ALSO... BIG NEWS, I got an Instax Mini 25. Not from Gmarket though, because I figured if something went wrong I couldn't return it. I love it so much, I dream about taking pictures with it. At first I couldn't figure out which way the macro lens went on, then I realized the flat part was to not cover the mirror area.

John Frieda Precision Foam Colour to the Rescue!

Quick post. In my previous post, I showed you the horrible disaster that happened. Well, I decided to use John Frieda Precision Foam Colour to help fix it. Although I abhor the smell, there's no denying that this product works. And it says it'll give even color, so figured it was worth a shot. This is my 3rd time dyeing my hair in a week. Probably not the best, but I really needed to not have orange hair. Also, I remembered what Tabitha said on Tabitha's Salon Takeover during one episode "Color removes color". Sure enough, when I went to wash this one out (it does kind of lather btw), orange just poured out of my head. I had chosen the Natural Brown color this time around since I figured there was enough orange red in my hair already.

It's not perfect, but the orange is considerably toned down, roots are less visible and I'm happy!

Samy Fat Foam Hair Color

Hi my lovely readers. I got all my Gmarket stuff in, and I love most of it! Buttt... I'll leave that for another post (are you impatient enough now?)

This post is going to be about my experience with Samy Fat Foam hair color yesterday. I got the intense red color, the one that says RR. I've been eyeing this product, mostly for the packaging. When I opened it, I was thinking, is this huge bottle really necessary?...

Turns out it is. You can google a lot of pictures on what's inside, but this post is more on my thoughts on the product.

First, the developer is clear liquid. While that's not a huge surprise it was a little bit of one because I'm mainly used to using a creme developer. The color is also powder which I've never used before. It was always liquid or creme. At first when you mix the two together, it's almost an off white, not the color you eventually want to get (but that's ok). After you shake the mixture in the container, you open the container to see that the foam actually reaches allll the way to the top and almost spills out.

The instructions basically will have you shivering in your pants not to drip anywhere without wiping up immediately. I found that you do have some time left to clean things up before it stains for good. Unlike Clairol colors. Application is where I run into problems though. You may recall my posts on John Frieda's Precision hair color and how I noted it was difficult to get the color even when you use the foam application. This particular product is also a drippy foam (they note it in the instructions) but it doesn't lather up! DO NOT try to apply it every which way as I did. Well I did separate into three layers, but it's best to be methodolical with this product and thoroughly cover each layer.

The product did have a bit of a burning to the nose and bad smell as is common of these products, but it's not as bad as the John Frieda one. The color is completely not what I expected. It looks orange to me. I hate it when my hair is orange.

After the product was washed out, my hair felt sooo damaged. It was the worst yet, maybe even worse than when I first did a light bleach on my hair the first time dyeing. I can understand why they say not to comb, your hair will most likely fall out in chunks. But then I put their shampoo on (normally I never shampoo after dyeing, only condition, but they include a shampoo) my hair immediately got much smoother and silkier. I then applied the conditioner and when my hair was dry and done? Well now it's super silky to the touch.

My roots are still very dark in most areas, but the dye was able to smooth out the line between dyed hair and roots some. You can see the uneven application =/.

Conclusion: I don't think I can recommend this product due to difficulty in usage, color, and extent of damage to hair. If this is a product that you love, well don't let me stop you! It's just not one that I would use often. The John Frieda one leaves everything burning and you want to choke from the smell, but at least it lightens hair and produces a nice color.

I kind of want to go out and buy a brown or something to fix this. I'm supposed to dress professionally to work so I'm not sure how they'll take to my orange streaks. And yes, they are orange. They don't look as terrible in the pictures, but they are.

Revolt Against Harassment by Sephora Sales Associates!!

I'm so bothered by my visit to Sephora yesterday that I have to blog about it. For those of you internationally who don't know, Sephora is a store where they let you test out higher end cosmetics. They have lipsticks, nailpolishes, foundations, eyeshadows, etc etc laid out for you to try. When the store was newish way back when, I remembered enjoying the experience, I could test out colors and formulations before buying a product (which saves you bunches on these more expensive ones). Once in a while a sales associate would ask if you needed help when passing by.

NOW?! IT'S GOTTEN TERRIBLE! I noticed that it seems like every time I go there I get harassed more and more by the sales associates. Yes, I call it harassing. I know there are some of you who enjoy having sales associates fawn all over you, that's great. But I'm the type who likes to browse by myself, and then if I need assistance I can call a sales associate over. There have been times at other stores when I've looked for someone to help and there was no one to help. THAT was annoying. Just.. stand there until I'm good and ready, geez.

I blame that customer service craze that came about 2 years or so ago. The one where economy in this country was getting worse and people opted to get more customers by upping the customer service. Except they overdid it. Used to be at Home Depot we would get frustrated because no one was around for aisles to help. Now? Two people will ask you within a minute if you need help. At least after you say no they go away. THIS is what I was mad about yesterday, and even today.

Within 5 minutes of me walking into Sephora. 4 different sales associates asked if I needed help, told them no every time. I knew this would happen too, which is why I tried to duck into an out of sight aisle first- in hopes of avoiding them. Within another 5 minutes, one of THE SAME sales associates approached me and said, "Are you STILL okay?" UHMMM YES. Do you think I'm going to die in 5 minutes?!?! "Are you SURE there's nothing I can help you with" YES, DANGNAMMIT YES! Am I going to die without you?! LADY YOUR FOUNDATION IS ORANGE, I THINK YOU SHOULD HELP YOURSELF FIRST BEFORE TRYING TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE.

My friend who works retail at a game store is trying to convince me that they are forced to do so in retail or they get fired. WELL THEN LISTEN UP STOREOWNERS. YOU ANNOY ME, STOP. I'm now refusing to enter sephora unless absolutely necessary. I much prefer shopping online. Or why didn't I just walk into a department store to try things on? At least I won't get harassed by the same people.

I should clarify though, if I'm looking for something in particular, then it is helpful to ask the sales people because they can help you pick out all the red shades of lipstick or whatever since they have a good knowledge of what the store offers.

On the bright side, I think I did find a decent dupe for the lipcolor that I was looking for. My friend wore this gorgeous champagne beige color that she said was made by Pixi. Pixi's palettes are not the cheapest and I didn't want to buy a whole palette just for one color. Smashbox's Lustre looks close. It's not perfect. I wish it were more of a shimmer instead of glitter, but it's the closest I could find. I need to go to Inglot again to see if they have a similar color. I'll be shadowing a PA in NY in a few weeks so that'll be the perfect opportunity.

Stay well and try not to get harassed by sales associates. and if you are a sales associate, try not to harass customers. especially the same one. toodles.

PS. I got another gmarket order in, have to take pictures of my haul for you! Also... I might have another haul on the way, no I definitely do. >.> My poor bank account.

PPS. omg omg my people, I just looked apparently you can order Inglot online now! Smart move! I'll still go in store to check out the shades though... and to skip shipping. Maybe I should pick up a new gel liner. The old one is dried out. I wanted to try out a different (possibly cheaper?!) one, but this one works pretty well so...if it ain't broke don't fix it? >.<

New Heels!

A bit of news for you: I somehow became an SVIP member (apparently it's above VIP?) on GMarket XD haha, guess that huge makeup haul did it. I'm usually not VIP anything, and all of the sudden this, and apparently I autoupgraded to gold member for another store I shop at too X_X.

wooo~ Taking a break from makeup and showing you all my new shoe haul.

1st: Colin Stuart suede convertible boots- wear them cuffed, uncuffed, slouched, both.

I Love these! retail $150, but got them cheap $34 off a site- they just went down to $22 too! DARN!!! Ah well, I still think they're a good deal- they're good quality too.

2nd: Steve Madden Saassi(?) Colorblock heels.

These are cute but big. I'm going to exchange them. They're 5" I believe, so very high. The quality is slightly disappointing. There is nowhere near enough padding at the balls of the feet for such a high incline. It's pearlized pink and beige. I think I wanted a grayer brown but I'm starting to grow fond of the color- just might have some issues walking in these.

3rd: Jessica Simpson- maybe Edith? Can't really remember

Love these! They are a tidge long. Between 7.5 and 8 but not so long that I will exchange them. With some gel cushion they fit perfectly. Very comfortable heels and easy to walk in. Plus, not much toe cleavage~

Gmarket Lip Haul Pics/ Review!!!

You'll all be so proud of me, first I found those earrings that I lost. Turns out I just put them in my other organizer case. Those things are so handy. I got one with a handle and many compartments from Michael's for only $6. I have a 50% off coupon so maybe I should drop by and grab another. Second, I finally just up and got the gumption to assemble all the pictures for the lip products I hauled from Gmarket! yayyy!!! Here they are: Lots of chances for you to take items from here that seem interesting to you as well! ENLARGE ALL PICTURES BY CLICKING ON THEM TO GET A BETTER LOOK!

Well before that let me start off with a freebie that I got. This is a yogurt cleansing foam from Etude House. It's supposed to be a peel because of the AHA in it, so I was a bit hesitant to try it in case I ended up in rashes or something. Actually I really like it!! It has a clean fresh scent. Not like lemony or anything, but like when you buy body wash in asia or something, that kind of scent. I don't really see any of the peeling effects. It's a gentle cleanser, and yet it does make my face feel well cleansed after! I might consider buying it, maybe. I have two other shiseido cleansers in use currently and a clean and clear somewhere that needs to be finished off, so maybe after a while. Besides these 1 oz samples are huge and last forever, I really like that. This way you can really test out if you like the product.

Now onto Etude House Lip products~ I apologize in advance for my messy lips >.<

I would say these Sweet Shower Lips lip products have the strongest scent out of the whole Miss Tangerine line (still very faint though). The packaging is sturdy plastic which surprised me, I expected it to be cheaper plastic. These are kind of like lip gloss solidified in a tube ^^. They have microglitter in them too. The sheer color really makes these colors wearable and I highly recommend. My favorite of the two is #1 though. You turn the bottoms and they click while pushing the product upwards. WARNING: do not advance it more than you plan to use because you can't make it go back down. This is a con.

Next in line is the Miss Tangerine LUCIDarling Fantastic Rouge in #12.

If you remember from before, I raved about the formula for this line and how it really is able to cover lip color. You can see that from my swatch below as well. The top swatch is the same color as it is in the tube. The lighter center for the lipstick on the leftmost picture is non existent- due to flash. Very faint tangerine smell that gets a bit stronger as you apply. Still, it's barely noticeable. #12 is the pinker of the two tangerine line shades.

While I still love this line, I find the color a bit too similar to a color I already have. If interested, EMAIL ME: $9 shipped- sorry, the USD is depreciating -___-;;

Continuing on with Etude House lipstick theme, I have the VIP Girl Dear Darling Lips lippies.

PK007 is from their main line and OR205 is from the Miss Tangerine line.

I wasn't sure whether or not to get pk006 or pk007 at first, and even all the swatches from blogs couldn't help me. I decided to go with pk007 because it got a rave review and I'd rather be safe than sorry. Turns out it's a nice nude pink shade. I might have regretted the pk006 because I think it would've ended up too light. The disappointing thing is that I love the color, I love how it looks when it's applied, but I'm not liking the overall effect of it on my face. =(. I don't know whether it's because my lips are too thick or something, but it seems like this color is looking a little too light. I look like a clown of sorts. Or perhaps I need something with a more opaque formula, if only they made a similar shade in the LUCIDarling line! Maybe I will take another look in the morning with different lighting. Pk007 has a very very faint scent that I can't put my finger on.

OR205 actually has a bit stronger of a tangerine scent than the other tangerine line products. Perhaps I was wrong about the Sweet Shower Lips having the strongest scent. It's a yummy scent =D. The color is wearable and slightly opaque. A lovely color. The more I stare at it, the more I think I should keep it. But my common sense kicks in and tells me that I wouldn't wear this shade that often. My clothes are all intensely colored so.. I don't know things just seem to not fit well together color scheme wise. I tends more towards the neutral/ cool shades of makeup, so why in the world I picked up so many tangerine things is a mystery to me @.@. Again, OR205 is the pinker of the two released for the Miss Tangerine line. The other is OR207. Make no mistake though, when you put this on, people will know it is orange!

The VIP Girl lipsticks are both medium creamy, as in creamy, but not so creamy that the product is sliding all over the place. I find the it has a good amount of coverage as well. My pigmented lips were concealed. The only thing is you will need to exfoliate before applying or it can look tacky.
Save me from myself and take OR205 and/ or PK007 (I'm still debating whether or not to keep this one, but in the meantime... up for grabs) for $7 shipped by EMAILING ME at

Rollin' Rollin' the Dear Darling Roll Roll gloss. This one is pretty fun, the tip rolls to help you apply the product. It has multicolored microglitters in it, very cool. I got #4 which I think is supposed to be guava but it smells more like strawberry?? cherry? maybe cherry. (sorry I'm not good at describing these things). I was hoping there'd be more of a color impact but it's a subtle gloss instead. Kind of thick, and slight stickiness.

As you all know I have a buttload of glosses already (see previous gmarket hauls) including the LUCIDarlings and Peach Waters from Etude. So I must ask one of you to step up and be this one's new owner. I haven't even made a dent in those yet. Secondhand gloss is pretty iffy, but I tried to keep things sanitary by washing hands before depositing product on finger--> lips. $6 shipped, EMAIL if interested.

And another gloss! This one is the Moon Crystal Power gloss with enough glitter to blind someone. The color is actually opaque enough to cover up some of the lip pigment as shown in the non flash picture. Flash just makes the camera see right through the glittery illusion. It's a thicker product, slightly sticky. The color is absolutely gorgeous. The applicator is an actual brush, like with bristles and all. The only slight downside to this product is that it has a faint chemical-ish smell. It fades away after application, but it is something to be noted.

I imagine this as a lipcolor for glitzy night parties. Buttt... as I don't party, it seems like such a shame (Really really really gorgeous). Perhaps someone can do it justice for $7 shipped EMAIL me at

Again, as I said for the previous gloss, I tried to keep things hygienic.

The last of the Etude Lippies is the Miss Tangerine Follow Me Tint. They have another one for the Peripera line that changes shades from blue to pink. I was scared because people said that one had a bad smell. This one, I'm happy to say, only has the faintest tangerine scent. It doesn't change that much, the color is a very faint pink. After you wipe the color away it's gone. Your lips don't actually get tinted. Again, very pleased with the sturdy plastic packaging, and the barrel is metal. This is SPF 13 product. I wouldn't say it's horribly special, just a product that can give you a pop of color and a little sun protection. This would be good for those who don't want a dramatic effect but want their lips a step up from the bare natural look.

Out with the Etude, in with... Holika Holika?!

This is a very cute concept brand, all the google images you see of their stores makes you really want to visit. The particular product I have here is the Aqua Petit Jelly Tint Bar. It is essentially like a tinted gloss solidified. Kind of like the Follow Me Tint above except without spf and changing colors, but with more color impact. The color is a bit stronger irl than in the photo, and I think you can build it up as well. It's transparent and has a sprinkling of glitter. I got 01 which is cherry scented. I have so many things like this already, including the Follow Me Tint, I also have the Clio lip pencil from last time- they're just all different scents. If you don't have something like this already, I suggest trying it out. This is a great way to spruce up your day with a hint of color on your lips. Take this away from me for a mere $8 shipped by EMAILING

Last but not least, I have the Tony Moly Tony Tint in 01 Cherry. I've had my eye on this for quite a while now. It's in a cute round bottle and .. so red. I finally got two freebie samples with my (accidental) Tony Moly  order. Each of these sample ones has the diameter of about a quarter (super tiny!), and it's only filled half way. The product applies extremely bloody red. I love it. Applies like water. Once it dries it totally does not smudge off. BUT if you wet it, it comes off right away with little actual lip tinting. (see pictures below of just applied and wiped off with water).
I think you can probably just dab a bit on and move your lips around to get a lighter application as well. I think this was the lip tint used in some drama as well, and her lips were only faintly pink. Con of this product, it has a faintly unpleasant smell. Still bearable though, as it fades after application. The smell is like that of Revlon Just Bitten lip tint- except I don't seem to have any allergic reactions to this product, no itchiness as with the Revlon.

If you want to try this out, I can mail you my extra for $4 shipped if you EMAIL me at

It's a highly popular product so take advantage!!

The end!
